Eric D. Jaakola, D.P.M.Education:
After graduating from the North Colorado Podiatric Surgical Residency in Greeley Colorado in 2004, I joined the Diabetic Foot and Wound Center to begin my career. I was fortunate to have a well rounded residency that provided me with the confidence and ability to treat a wide range of foot and ankle maladies from hammer toes and bunions to fractured ankles. Additionally, I have more specific training in: Shock wave therapy for Achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis, Ankle Arthroscopy, Ponseti casting technique for Club Foot, Total Contact Casting for plantar wounds and Charcot deformity, and external fixation for various foot and ankle deformities and fractures.
